Dounreay Power Station Sewage Treatment Plant Supply

Drainstore was selected by Dounreay Site Restoration Ltd to design, supply and commission two above ground sewage treatment plants complete with raw sewage feed pumping stations and access ladders and platforms.

The new plants were required to serve office and welfare facilities in two locations on the site and, being of a temporary nature, the above ground sewage treatment plant option offered to the client was preferred to a below ground, buried option.

The scheme was delivered in two phases, the first pumping station and sewage treatment plant were commissioned in April 2011 with the second in January 2012.
